Real Results: 6 Month Follow Up

Krista’s initial Revanesse® VersaTM treatment focused on reducing the deep lines appearing from the base of her nose to the outer corners of her mouth, commonly referred to as smile lines or marionette lines. Her initial results showed a noticeable improvement in the treatment areas, while maintaining a subtle and natural look.

We followed up with Krista 6 months after her treatment to see how she felt about the experience and how well her results are lasting. She told us:

“So far, the treatment has filled out my “laugh lines” for more than half a year. The results are subtle and very natural looking. I have been very happy with the outcome and would definitely do it again. Several people have told me I look younger and I couldn’t be happier with the results.”

How Long Do Hyaluronic (HA) Dermal Filler Results Typically Last?

HA dermal fillers will typically last from 6 to 18 months. Ultimately, how long a filler lasts depends on the product, the area of treatment, and the patient. To maintain your results, your healthcare provider can evaluate your goals and results and recommend a maintenance plan that will work for you.1

How Is Revanesse® VersaTM Optimized For Lasting Results?

To start, the selection of HA with a notably high molecular weight serves to add longevity to treatment results. Our formula also contains a high percentage of ultra-refined, spherical particles. This refined particle shape is designed to integrate more seamlessly with the body’s natural makeup, slowing down the degradation process.

How Do HA Dermal Fillers Work?

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a sugar naturally produced by your body. As a water-binding molecule, it has the ability to hold 1000 x its weight in water. A large amount of the naturally occurring HA is found within the body and present within the skin. As we age, the amount of HA within the skin decreases causing the skin to lose volume and develop fine lines and wrinkles. By injecting HA dermal fillers into the skin, you can restore a more youthful appearance.

What Can Dermal Fillers Be Used For?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers are minimally invasive and produce instant results. HA dermal fillers can be used for a variety of applications1:

  • Smooth out lines around nose and mouth
  • Enhance and restore volume to sunken cheeks or temples
  • Diminish vertical lip lines
  • Plump & enhance lips
  • Smooth out a chin crease
  • Improve symmetry among facial features

Different dermal fillers will work better for different treatment areas and goals. Consult with your healthcare provider to learn which option is right for you.

Revanesse® VersaTM is indicated for injection into the mid to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults 22 years of age or older. Prollenium US doesn’t recommend the use of Revanesse Versa in any manner other than as described in its Directions for Use.
